How does listing your domain for sale on BrandBucket works?
Submit domain(s) you wish to sell on Brandbucket, we approve your listing but remember we are very picky about names we approve in our market place. You will then be notified so you can pay for the listing fees ($10 per name). Next step is redirecting your domain to BrandBucket. As soon as we verify your domain is redirecting to BrandBucket.com/domainname we will expose your name to logo designers to start branding your domain name. Once a logo design is approved wich usualy takes a couple of days, your domain will go live for sale on BrandBucket.
How do I sign up?
Complete the sign up process and create an account on BrandBucket. We will e-mail you to verify your e-mail with one simple click and logging into your account on BrandBucket!
Submitting a domain for sale
Log into your BrandBucket account and click Domains and go to the Add domains link. You can submit an unlimited number of domains for sale. We carefully review your submittal and hopefully your domain will be approved for listing.
The approval process
We review your domain listings and approve each domain separately. Brandbucket is particular about the types of brands we sell. We try to shy away from keywords and go for unique brandable names that are easily pronounced and have little or no spelling variations. The domain should also be a dot com domain.
Setting the selling price
You can list your domain for sale for any price you feel is suitable, we take 30% on top of that. You then decide on the logo design fee which can be anywhere between $100-500 that is paid to the logo designer. So listing price will include the logo design fee and our 30% and what you asked for is what you get!
Listing fees
Our listing fee is $10 per domain and you can also list your domain to be Featured in selected categories or on BrandBucket Homepage for an extra fee.
Re-directing your domain
You will need to redirect your domain DNS to the BrandBucket listing. This allows visitors to your site to be directed to the listing page on BrandBucket. This is a necessary step and you can read more about these steps here.
Transfer process
Great! Your domain has been sold. You will need to complete a simple transfer form that will allow us to transfer your domain to the new owner! You can find more info here.
